RGB!!!
Only Polyglot and some Uni v4 are compatible with rgb. Some Uni v4 are not compatible because it was added late.
Ingredients
- WS2812B RGB strip from AliExpressopen in new window (1 meter; 60 led/m; ip whatever)
- Soldering skills
- Optional but highly, highly recommended: translucent backplateopen in new window.
How-to
Compatible keyboards have three little squares on the back of the PCB. You can see it by taking off the backplate. There's one on the left and one on the right. If you have these squares/pads you can add rgb to your keyboard!
Solder the strips
- Make sure your led strip lines up with the labels on the keyboard.
- Your strip is soldered to either the left or the right, not both. You can use the adhesive to prop up the other side.
- Make sure the data flows the correct direction.
- Line your strip up with the board to see which direction is correct.
